Not Another Love Song by Julie Soto
4.5
After a fantasy reading slump this book was exactly what I needed. Everything Julie Soto writes hits so perfectly. I didn't love the third act breakup, but I also understood it .
A book about a woman who plays violin and a man who plays cello and how they're both prodigies in their own way and fall in love.
I enjoyed how much classical music terminology was used metaphorically in the entire book and how they both literally and figuratively made music together.
This book is also about found family, but how sometimes that means putting your pride aside to understand and reconcile with your real family.
About to go find another romance book to uplift my spirits and give me all the good feels.
