who knew you could root for the Antichrist? Crowley and Aziraphale are so dear to me, i will always adore this story, and it’ll be one i return to every few years for a much needed re-read.
the tv series is an incredibly faithful adaptation so if you liked it, definitely read the book; there’s so many funny asides in the story itself and in its many footnotes that it’s well worth the time it takes to read. however, there is some dated word usage (the f—, g—, and r-slurs) and a handful of racist analogies sprinkled throughout the text, so not all of Good Omens has aged gracefully but the heart of it still shines through.
