A Good Life by Virginie Grimaldi
4.25
4.25✨ I’m absolutely teary eyed & quivering in the plane rn. This was insanely beautiful and gut wrenching. So magically written. This book is grief and the shit storm that is life embodied in the most delicate & lovely package. I’m just in awe. This was translated from French & I’m keen on reading the original as I’m sure the language & beauty hits harder in its original language and text. This really hit hard. The loss of a parent, the loss of a grandparent, the loss of a sibling. So wonderfully portrayed jumping back and forth through time. The cutesy cover is deceiving. I’m left feeling so warm yet heavy. Truly a must read
