The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune
5.0
I can’t count the number of times I started crying while reading this book because I was so touched by all the love Linus and the children had for each other. It’s a beautiful book about prejudice and how we can change even though we were taught differently from when we were little. There are life lessons to be learnt here, one of which is my personal mantra, to always listen and look past the surface to see something more. There were so many quotes I highlighted but my favourite one is, “change often starts with the smallest of whispers”. Read this book, you won’t regret it.
