The Wolf Wilder by Katherine Rundell

5.0

I was hooked on this book from the first sentence. It is absolutely beautiful. The Wolf Wilder is intended as a middle grade novel and it was neither a disappointment nor a bore. I could not put it down and, in all honesty, it made me cry. I loved the sentiment between Feo and the wolves and the world she sees, feels, tastes, smells, and hears.

Feo reminds me a bit of Lyra from His Dark Materials and, to my surprise, after checking over the back cover, found that Pullman praised this book.
