Easy reading kiwi goodness!
I love Danielle’s books for a summer beach read, a “cleanse your palate” kinda book.
Easy to love characters. Enough drama to keep you flipping the pages but not enough that it gets carried away and so many wee kiwi-isms it’s hard not to break into a smile when you can hear our accent in every word.
She writes characters that you can find people in your own life who relate to them and she managed to write about a dark serious topic with ease without it feeling over or under done - not an easy feat in such a lighthearted book.
She’s as humble as anything. Will pretty much read anything she writes
