American Kingpin: The Epic Hunt for the Criminal Mastermind Behind the Silk Road by Nick Bilton
4.0
(read as ebook)
I enjoyed this book. It was an easy read. It's non fiction, but reads like fiction, since it gives you the thoughts of the characters. It must surely have been embellished. Author is clearly journalist, not a fiction writer. Described a particular batch of shrooms as "scrumptious". Were they really though?
The overly descriptive language and minutia on what characters were doing or even thinking causes me doubt that this book is 100% accurate. Which is a shame, for something that claims to be thoroughly researched. Still, an engaging read. Not many other Ross's out there. Is Ross Ulbricht the second most famous Ross after Ross Geller from Friends?
