I saved this book for a while as I heard a lot of people say that once they read Rebecca, it kind of soured their reading experience of her other works, so I stayed away for as long as I could. I read Jamaica Inn first in 2016 (which I thought was quite good), and My Cousin Rachel last year (which I loved and thought was excellent) but I couldn't wait any longer; I needed to read Rebecca. I think I need to let this book sit with me for a while because there is just so much to take in but I understand what the hype was about now. It's amazing.
