In the Hand of the Goddess by Tamora Pierce
5.0
4.9 stars.
I loved the book overall, though i did find that the heroine (or hero) stating quite often that she (he, they) is not interested in romance, but then falling in love if the right person is present quite annoying.
I think we need more aromantic rep in middle-grade and YA stories.
This book was still a delight though and I really loved the prose.
