Wow. This was incredible. Thank you to all those who read and recommended this! I'm rather jaded these days when it comes to horror - it's been a very long time since any book scared me into peering at shadows when I'm abed. This one didn't do that either, but I couldn't put the book down, and the sense of dread was very powerful.

5/5 would recommend and read again.
