JKR walked so this series could run. Genuinly this Book also is a meandering journey that is not terribly plot driven even though there is a strong sense of build that feels reminiscent of the Harry Potter series. Rather, it's the texture of the world, and the characters that carries this tome. In true Brando Sando Fashion I got worried halfway that I was losing interest because of aforementioned slowness, by two thirds I was willing to finish but swore I would not pick up another 1000+ page book, and by the end I was checking if the sequel was in the BI library.
