I was definitely intrigued about this book from reading the description, but I cannot say I enjoyed the book.
I hate infidelity in literature, so despite the fact that it is quite unfortunately, common for boring marriages and especially marriages at the time this book is set, I just could not find myself enjoying it simply for the fact I do not like to read about infidelity.
The characters were not particularly likeable, somehow the only character I did enjoy was old Coke Beckett because he was saying exactly what I was thinking.
It was all quite repetitive for me, too. Granted, it all took place in one day, but I did not enjoy that fact in the slightest. It had me skipping paragraphs, and entire pages, because I had already read the exact same thing just with a slight change in perspective depending on who we were focusing on.
The concept was so wonderful, I was extremely let down by this.
