Put this book smack in the middle of a venn diagram with A Man Called Ove, Beartown, and (obviously, given that it's a spinoff) My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry. Because this book has so so SO much in common with its siblings, it might be my least favorite, but I did not by any means dislike it. I could never dislike a Backman. I love the way he writes. I love the way he creates his characters. I love the way he phrases things. He's my favorite for a reason.
