This book was AMAZING. I was assigned to read it for my Humanities class, even though it has nothing to do with our unit, and I LOVED it. It's about this girl named Fatima who was a slave for an awful man. When Iqbal was sold to the man everything changed. He helped save them!
But I warn you: the ending is extremely sad. Iqbal is shot and dies. It's based off a true story about a boy named Iqbal Masih. I love this book even though it's not my usual genre.
