Rubin delights again! I will admit that YA isn't normally a genre I gravitate toward, but Chronicles of the Guardians is a lovely, entertaining series and I was excited to pick up this second installment. Derek Draco has grown since we meet him in the first book, but we quickly learn it's not easy for him to put his past completely behind him. Additionally, all is not right in Aloseria. Full of fantastic twists and turns, Lady Night is a solid sequel -- and I can't wait to see what happens next! (Note: I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.)
