nice tribute to queer found families, past and present. also it was just a lot of fun and really executed well on the author's part. i just wish jane's activism was more prominent instead of just coming off as a ~quirky~ character trait. after all, it's thanks to her and other queer activists that august and her friends are even able to live (relatively) peacefully.
