The novel explores different perspectives of both dealing with and living with an intensifying climate crisis. I found the different perspectives thought-provoking and occasionally informative, but I’m taking a star off because I found several chapters rather dull (looking at you, long discussions about glaciers), and some of the presented solutions a bit simplistic (blockchain everything...). Even though it’s not perfect, this is still a novel that I wish policy- and decision-makers would read and get inspired to act more decisively. Otherwise, the coming decades won’t be as optimistic as the ones explored throughout the novel.
