I was SO pleased with this book. I read it almost all in one sitting, and stayed up until 4am to finish it.
WHAT I LIKED:
-The good writing continued.
-Juliette. FINALLY! She finally became the character that I craved for in the first book! She was mature, reliable, steady, independent, believed in herself, and embraced her powers. LOVE.
-Warner. Everything finally comes full circle with him. I love his character. I love how he supports Juliette. He never forces her to do anything. He doesn't want to change her. Ugh. I could go on and on about this character.
-Their romance. See above. Juliette finally realizes that what she had with Adam wasn't love, and was just the product of her never having a friend before. I LOVE that the main character actually admitted that for once! SO wonderful. And the relationship between Warner and Juliette is so beautiful. They support each other, they make sacrifices for each other, they believe in each other. So perfect.
-Juliette and Kenji's friendship. It was so wonderful to see Juliette have a friend without any strings attached.
-Everyone's powers. Need I say more.
-Juliette being a boss. It needed to be said again.
WHAT I DISLIKED:
-I hate Adam Kent. I felt so much rage against this character that I can't even talk about it. It was like reading about a toddler having a temper tantrum. HATE. (But this didn't take away from the book because it was done well. I was meant to hate him!)
Overall, this book was everything I wanted in a finale. The character development we got to see from all of the characters (mostly...ugh Adam) was wonderfully wrapped up in this book. It was the perfect conclusion to a series that just kept getting better with every book.
