An amazing story by this author new to me!
I couldn’t help but become increasingly engaged with this story!
This was so well written and I was fully invested and rooting for these two characters Sloan And Jackson right from the beginning.
Ok let’s get into this.
Sloan and Jackson, their history, the storyline, the incredible chemistry, the angst and the scintillating moments is everything.
It’s a story of captivating, emotional, steamy and heartwarming journey of redemption family love and second chances.
Jackson and Sloan had a whirlwind secret relationship years ago, but secrets and choices is what ultimately tore them apart, leaving them both heartbroken.
Now quite a few years later, Sloan is receiving threats and decides to head off on her sailing boat regardless to escape. She reluctantly agrees to let her brother's organise a bodyguard to go with her, one who turns out to be Jackson her one true love the one she couldn’t forget even when she tried.
But Forced together on this Caribbean trip, in very close proximity, old feelings begin to resurface as they face their past and try to ignore the magnetic pull and erotic feelings between them.
Oh Lordy these two are sure to set off some serious electrical heat in the middle of the sea!
Flashbacks were sprinkled throughout the book which helped to explain Sloan and Jackson history and beautifully added to their story.
But Despite their history of hurt and deep pain filled regret, the pull between them is undeniable with scintillating tension and chemistry sizzling between them.
They had so much to more to overcome in their journey. but I loved how they came together in such ways that they made the most sense, and the decision to fight for what they wanted while working together to navigate everything that came their way as a team.
This was heartwarming to read.
I really love this entire cast of characters especially the brothers, The way they come together to support and love each other is super special and endearing, but what I really enjoy is their dynamics and family banter!
But mostly the way how they accepted Jackson into their family was so sweet endearing and oh so entertaining!
