Tangled Power is the sequel to Compass Points and it started right after the ending of the 1st book. Thankfully there’s a recap from the author in the beginning of this book which is very helpful to jog my memories of what happened before!
Told in dual POV – Rose and Luc (our main characters), this story explore more about Rose’s forging skills as a weapon master and also as the leader to make the Compass Point work together as a team to defeat the evil rogue God.
It wasn’t easy being a leader and I admire Rose for being able to bringing these four people with four different elements together, put their differences aside and work together for the first time in history.
I also love seeing the romance between Rose and Luc as they explore more about their feelings on this journey. They are very supportive towards each other which always wamrs my heart whenever I see them comforting each other.
The last few chapters were quite intense and also ended with a slight cliff-hanger at the end which had me wishing I have the next book with me right now!
Overall, it’s a great addition to the series and truly an enjoyable read for me. I’m looking forward to continue Rose’s journey in the next book!
I received an advanced review copy for free from the author, and I am leaving this review voluntarily!
