Gone with the Wind took me on an emotional roller coaster, just as I expected. I've had this on my TBR list for years and finally took the leap. I'm so glad I got the full story after seeing the film countless times. I both loved and hated Scarlett. And if I'm being honest, it was the same with most every other character too. I was never a huge Ashley fan when watching the movie and the book made me like him a little less. Rhett though, I was "meh" about him in the movie and I liked him so much in the book. Getting more backstory and more scenes with certain characters opened my eyes a little more.
