I think I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this book! Not much happened plot-wise but I loved the characters and the writing. So many emotions were brought out while reading and I thought that aspect was really well done.  I also couldn't believe these characters were so young because I feel like they'd all been through so much. The chemistry between Jessa and Kit was insane. I loved witnessing them falling in love with each other. I was rooting for them the whole time. There were plenty of cliched moments, but even those couldn't take away how much I enjoyed reading this. I know these are interconnected standalones but I'm so excited to read more by Mila Gray!
