oh my god! this was so fucking cute I cannot deal! I think I am entering my friends-to-lovers era because this book had me feeling all warm & fuzzy and I was a giggling mess! Damon is the cutest book boyfriend and his care for Allegra and Lea is just ahhhhh so effing cute l

I am really glad it was a very quick get together rather than it dragging out on paper (I know D has loved her for 12 years and whilst that might have been cute to see I like that it wasn't dragged out.) I also really liked the focus on the mmc's situation too like regarding his foster life and how that impacted him in the long run, basically seeing a vulnerable mm c was a welcome change to the typically vulnerable fmc. All the characters were go great including Allergra's mom & brother and the background on why Allegra went into Law was emotional, understandable and beautiful
