What a sweet and charming tale. We need more stories about animal friends and their shenanigans. The language was beautiful especially in the way that nature as a whole was described as another character. My highlights:
1. Mole and Rat calling each other “Ratty” and “Moly”
2. Toad brushing his HAIR!! A toad with hair?! What gets better than that.
3. Toad wanting to sing so badly at his banquet that he set up a solo performance in an empty room.
