This series will always hold a special place in my heart. I love a small town romance but add in that every single FMC is fat it makes me so happy. Sometimes there is like 1 and they always are insecure and feel unworthy of love. Mary shows us that we are worthy.

Lexi is the sister of Josh from book 2. She has held them together from a young age when death and abandonment made the two of them have to grow up way too quickly. Lexi kept walls up and didn’t think that she would ever have that special someone because she didn’t see it in the cards with her life and how busy it was. But enter in Liam, (Harry Styles inspired) MMC who’s bus broke down and now he is stuck in Mystic Falls and he’s happy about it. He has needed a break and has been struggling with how the music industry has been taking over his life and seeing him as a good versus a person.

We see both of them grow as people through their relationship. I loved that a lot.

Mary always writes incredible Fat Rep and I feel safe in her work. Liam is bi / pan( his terms) - he is very gender fluid and I loved that too.
