i was skeptical of this book when i started reading. i had it on my list for a long time, but i felt the beginning didn’t live up to the hype mostly bc i couldn’t understand the storyline. this is def a book that you have to read for a little while to understand what is going on, but once you do, ITS SO GOOD. the story describes lust and girlhood, what it’s like to be jealous and thirsty for attention. it discusses popularity and jealousy, creating a tantalizing story about love and abuse. truly an amazing book and the writing is absolutely fantastic. the play aspect reminded me a little of All’s Well by Mona Awad.
