This book was overall not very good. It was a great idea especially for a romance novel. Just poorly executed. It’s the book had been longer it might have been better. If Kassie could have provided us with a bit more characterization, then we would be more emotionally connected with the characters. Then we might actually care about the characters well being. In the book description, it mostly talks about Autumn forming a connection with Dax while they are in the library. I don’t really see it. The time spent in the library is only about 1/4 of the book. I do not think that is one enough for her and Dax to make a connection. Especially when the author was more focusing on the fact that they were in the library rather than them being romantically involved with each other. I have heard great things about this author and her books, so I am very disappointed to not have liked this one.
