Reread:
I think this is one of the strongest books in the series. It is were the series switches from the just focusing on the castle and the King of Adarlan and instead focuses on the wider world of Throne of Glass with Erilea and Wendlyn.
There is so much love put into this world with small interactions that make it feel alive like the theatre scene and background characters that may only be in a book or two. Also the switching POV really makes it feel like the world is larger and constantly moving whether Celaena is around or not. I often find books that try to show that the world is moving on with only one POV tends to more tell not show and I think having the multiple POV really allows for the larger world feeling.
I really enjoyed the book and can't wait to continue my reread of the series.
