Great plot ideas but the story ended up being kinda flat in this first book. I think it's a nice story for teenagers, although some statements didn't age that well, especially how the main character repeatedly mentioned the physical appearances of other characters and seemed to focus a lot on how ugly or pretty they are, how someone with acne skin would be considered disgusting etc. But other than that I loved the concept of dream doors and I kinda hope the second and third book focus more on a deeper story and less on basic school drama.
