This was an eye-opening book. I felt I was seeing through the author's eyes. Her writing is very clear and powerful. I do want to have that sense of wonder when encountering another person and see no stranger. I appreciated her telling her story with great description even though it was often hard to hear. It felt very real and valuable as a result.
