I dnf’ed this a year back or so and I didn’t leave a review that made a bit of sense. 
The concept is pretty good. It’s more fun than anything that I’d find myself reading on a regular basis. I’d read this mostly because I wanted a break from the school books and other books that I’d read that made my brain go fuzzy. I want fun! I wanted something that could just be in the moment. And I’d heard that this had a very large Percy Jackson vibes around it so sign me up! 
But… this didn’t do that… 😬. 
This felt more like the author wanted to write a book, but they didn’t really know how to. That sounds rude, but like, this wasn’t that great. 
The swear words were used weirdly to. Like the author used fuck and fucking a lot which I’m good with but they just of gotten weirded out over how much they used it because they also would use effing, fricking, freaking, flipping, eff, frick, so on and so forth… And that go sooooo annoying!!!! 
The characters had potential, especially Nusicäa, but unfortunately, like a lot of YA characters, her badassery got in the way. I’m so tired of this shit. 
Arlo was also kinda not very good. She’s 18 and is falling for Nusicäa who is like 100000 years old. No thanks 😊👍. Hate that romance trope. The other potential couple was also not so good. Also, why is everyone white? The only person of color in this book was Chancellor Chandra and they’re barely in the book. 
Anyway, I wasn’t a book fan of this!
