Husband Material by Alexis Hall
4.0
I adored this book. Like always, Alexis Hall manages to write the most outrageous, but most real, characters imaginable. The rawness of the personal growth both Luc and Oliver are trying to achieve, and te way they communicate those insights to each other, make them seem infinitely real. The conversations they have around where they find community and how they express themselves are so huge and serious and complex, but they somehow work through them without weighing down the entire plot. This story was hopeful, raw, full of love, complicated, and went to the heart of what it means to be human as we navigate relationships and the world.
