A lovely little novella which captures the reality of Christmas very well. As I think is for many people the case (in varying degrees), this time of year can be challenging and those family get togethers aren't always easy to navigate. Getting a little more insight into Charlie's thoughts was nice, as well as his development over this little story alone.
