Older by Jennifer Hartmann

5.0

Jennifer Hartmann has been an autoread author for me since I began my journey with her. Each time I crack open a book, I know I'm in for it, with an emotional roller coaster where she takes me on a journey and I end the book questioning my morals, my ethics, and what I anticipated the ending  to be versus what the ending truly was. She's not afraid of taboo, she's not afraid of ripping your emotions straight from your chest, she's not afraid to make you so mad you find yourself clenching your teeth during one chapter, just to find yourself literally thanking her the next.

Older is absolutely no exception. The title fits the narrative perfectly with a massive age gap, slow burn, second chance, best friend's dad relationship. It's spicy, it's frustrating, it's heart wrenching, and so so much more. If you are a reader of Jennifer Hartmann, you absolutely can't miss reading this one. If you have never read one of her books, it's a great place to start.

Jennifer Hartmann, your books stick with me for months after I read them. And this one will be no different. Thanks for writing something so good, so compelling, it hurts. Thank you to Valentine PR for the complimentary advanced copy of this book. All of these opinions in this review are my own.
