Leah on the Offbeat by Becky Albertalli

4.0

Similar to "Simon vs. the Homo sapiens' Agenda," this book is a fun, lighthearted, quick read, but quickly becomes forgettable and blends into the background. The characters are all cookie-cutter stereotypes and honestly if you switched their names with each other, the reader would hardly be able to tell because they're all so flat and one-dimensional. Overall I enjoyed the plot, as you can tell by my 4 star rating, but it felt like any other run-of-the-mill YA novel.
