Great continuation to Knight and Play! My only complaint is the character of Dan. It felt as if he was little more than a plot device to bring Sophie and Lucien together and he was consistently a convenient villain the background. Considering how long he and Sophie were together, it's a little disappointing that we didn't get to see more of the fallout/confrontation that they eventually had. That's really the main reason why I can't give the book 5 stars.

That said, I liked the conclusion of the story and I enjoyed seeing the evolution of Lucien Knight as a person and his journey with Sophie. Sophie really grows up and learns to assert herself and be her own person and I'm glad Lucien encourages that (as opposed to other similar alpha males in other books I've read).
