Well this was a super fun concept! It kinda had some Barbie vibes mixed with a magical realism style like Ashley Poston’s books (but with a little more spice!) So if you’re a Seven Year Slip, Novel Love Story, or The Dead Romantics’ fan - add this to your TBR asap!!

Brynn is newly divorced and can only find true comfort in her favorite show, Carson’s Cove. One night Brynn and her roommate, Josh, are watching the series when a strange but familiar man knocks on their door. After a weird cake delivery and a wish, they wake up in Carson’s Cove. They are given the task to become Sloan and Fletcher (two characters in the series) and to give Sloan the happy ending she never got. Where Brynn always felt Sloan’s happy ending was Spencer, the town’s golden boy, she realizes she had it all wrong.
