Crazy book- never read anything so shocking! I thought the concept of magic and aliens as a way to escape abuse was super interesting, but was not expecting this book to be so dark! Super interesting concepts explored like bodily autonomy and why society demands children so much, however I can’t say I enjoyed the read. Will defo stick with me for a while and the writers style is very exhilarating, am interested to read other works to make sure the shock factor isn’t a gimmick.
