I read this book in one sitting mainly to avoid spoilers at an event, but it was also just that good. I loved the alternating POV's and the mix of politics, romance, and fantasy. The new characters were also incredible; although they were new, they were so well-developed. That being said I loved watching relationships flourish with the already existing characters. Corrick and Lochlan's journey was certainly something and I thought that they were such an unexpected duo. Tessa is a gift and I loved her and Rocco and their shared experiences together. The pacing in this installment sooo good. I liked that we stuck with each character for a bit instead of just jumping back and forth. The twist toward the end of the book had me absolutely reeling. I was crying, in denial, everything. But luckily everything ended up wrapping up nicely and I thought it was a great conclusion to an amazing series. I loved this book so much and I'm so excited to support Brigid in what she does next!
