As much as I enjoyed this book, I feel like it could of maybe been a three book series as I just feel like the story dragged a lot and felt so different. The found family is still one of my favourite things from this series and I loved how fiercely protective of each other they were.

I still enjoyed the series overall and felt the first three books were just so good..Tale of the Heart Queen just feels like it had a complety different storytelling strategy with a lot of tell rather than show and the conflict that had carried over the first three books was resolved too easily.
