The Forgetting by Hannah Beckerman
5.0
Anna wakes up in a London hospital with no recollection of who she is or anything from her life. When her husband Stephen comes to visit she does not recognise him at all. Anna was involved in a serious car crash and is suffering amnesia, it's terrifying for her.
Livvy lives in Bristol with her husband Dominic and baby son Leo. After six months maternity leave she is arranging childcare with the view of returning to work. Out of the blue Dominic's mother Imogen turns up, making Livvy feel unnerved, she appears to be stalking her.
Anna and Livvy's lives are about to collide in a way neither of them could possibly imagine.
I really enjoyed The Forgetting, it was an easy, fast paced read and cleverly written. I raced through, there were lots of twists and turns and a very satisfying ending. Highly recommended.
