I enjoyed Skadi and Jonas's love story. I adore how Jonas treats Skadi, which helps their relationship grow. I did think the pacing of their relationship could have been a bit slower. I wanted a little more enemy before the lover part. I enjoyed getting to know more characters, like Mira, and seeing more of the other clans/world. I liked Skadi's growth and how she comes into her own power. This novel was dark at times but adventurous and entertaining.
