The Ways of Wayward Witches by Evelyn King

5.0

Whoa Vampires! Wasn’t expecting that. I’m a huge Buffy fan, so all the references made me smile.
Its an interesting cast of characters, I found the “family” to be quite entertaining. Although I do get confused, all the “siblings” are orphans but Lumen speaks about their parents in the present tense rather than the past. But each of the siblings talk about them in past tense. I feel like I’m missing something. I admit the first 40% of the book the storlyline bored me, and the thing happened…I can’t say what it was because spoilers, but the story finally started to pick up for me then. From here to the end I loved Lumen and the Graves brothers. The dynamics between the three made me giggle so many times. And it ends in a cliffhanger! I laid in bed after finishing it wondering what would happen next, I actually lost sleep! There better be a second book!
