Quick fire reviews because I binged this while I was sick;
Book 1 of the All For The Game series is a perfect set-up for the rest of this absolute train wreck. (I mean that positively, I love this series.)
I’ve missed the mouthy rookie and his pack of messed up team mates. This is a little bit a product of the 2010’s, with some of the wording and some of the characters. But the plot is still completely insane.
Neil is obsessed with Exy to an unhealthy degree. The lacrosse adjacent made-up sport is all this king things about. Not his murdering gangster father tracking him down, not the Yakuza family that owns the rival team and might kill him. Just the game. I love him, what a disaster.
