for some reason the pacing in this was off. the plot overall was not something I was following and I wish it actually was interesting. I really only kept reading for the characters and their interactions. 

I love Calibannnnn but I feel like his relationship with Slate was much more interesting to read in book 1. Idk I feel about a choice at the end of the book with

killing off Brenner

but I wish it made more of an impact.

despite all these things, I giggled throughout this book, you can’t deny t.kingfisher is witty.
