Book Lovers by Emily Henry

5.0

All I kept thinking when I finished reading this book was: what a beautiful beautiful work of art.
I got that warm and fuzzy feeling where you kind of just sit down with the book in your hands and wonder how a stranger can make you feel all of these feelings over a bunch of words put together.

Book Lovers is the story of Nora and Charlie.
More specifically, it's a love story going beyond a relationship and exploring the relationship between sisters and the relationship between Nora and New York.
For the first time in a very very long time I was rooting for the main character to choose themself, even if that meant not having a romantic happy ending.
This book reminded me that it is okay and so so human to want things and to want EVERYTHING and it was nice to see those qualities in a woman who was career-driven.

Thank you Emily Henry for giving us a book about women like Miranda Priestly
