Lincoln & Ava: I fell in love with them both!

THE DEVIL’S BARGAIN was the second book I’ve read of Carin Hart and she is becoming one of my favorite authors!

This is a second chance, Mafia romance and I loved everything about this love story. Lincoln “Devil” Crewes, a Mafia head who worked his way up through the ranks never got over his teenage love, Ava. Choosing the streets over her, he let her go to have a normal life but never stopped loving her. Keeping a watchful eye over her over their years apart, Lincoln comes to her rescue when Ava lands in trouble with her Ex. The two enter an arranged marriage for Ava’s safety and Lincoln finally has the woman of his dreams back. But will he keep her?

This book had me from jump. Lincoln was unhinged but he worshipped Ava. I loved how devoted he was to her but he didn’t take any crap off of anyone. It was so good to see the bad cop we love have come to love Office Burns and the sweet Angela from NO ONE HAS TO KNOW.

This book is definitely worth reading, especially if you read the previous book and wanted to know more about Devil.
