I’m actually so mad I waited so long to read this book!! THE YEARNING! THE DESIRE!! THE TENSION!! Evan and Luz Alana are so down bad for each other immediately, and I can’t get enough of them together. THEY’RE SO SWEET AND HOT AND LOVING!! I so badly want an epilogue of them just being happy and in love.

Luz Alana is a force so strong that I got emotional at a few parts.  Her determination and strength are unmatched. She knows what she wants to do, and she does it regardless of how society treated women at that time. She was fierce in her protectiveness. She loves so deeply for her family and friends. They’re all such amazing characters, and I’m so excited to read their books soon. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH.

I want to hold back from giving Evan a ton of praise because he’s literally just a man doing the bare minimum, but I really did love him. He cared and supported Luz Alana and her dreams, even when he wasn’t sure entirely how to help. His desire to avenge his mother and help Apollo with their plan was one of my favorite things in this book.

I love how these characters all connected, even side characters who we didn’t see often. I ADORE THEM!! I actually think I don’t have any ability to convey just how much I love this book and these characters.  I am immediately reading the next book, with my ARC of the third one sitting in my kindle waiting for a turn.
