An analysis and deconstruction of capitalism in the same sense as Wealth of Nations did with mercantilism, except that Das Kapital never attempted to construct a new system. I wouldn't be surprised if Adam Smith were to have reacted favorably to this had he lived a century longer. I actually learned a lot of this stuff in my business classes, although they left out quite a lot of details, which makes me wonder how much capitalists have borrowed ideas from this book to exploit the system even more.
