This was so disappointing. The pieces are here for such a good book and honestly such a good story but it feels like half the book was removed during editing. I’ve never seen a more clear cut example of telling not showing. I didn’t believe the love form the side character and I couldn’t get behind any of the interactions with the side characters. So much felt missing to the point I had a hard time following along with who was who and what the hell was happening. I felt like I was reading a scene and then a paragraph or two was missing while I read the next sentence. It felt so jarring. Really disappointed because the vibes are on point and the snarkiness of the MFC was amazing.
